Trails & Centers Of Stewardship
Trails
Nell's Woodland is home to 6800 feet of walking trails; experience the beauty and serenity of the preserve by traversing its paths.
There are three distinct trails at Nell's Woodland: North Ridge, Center Ridge, and South Ridge. Provided maps and trail markers in the woodland outline the journeys and intersections of each trail.
Eagle: Our longest trail, discover and find inspiration from the ravine outlooks on this journey

Robin: Our shortest trail, the most accessible for adventurers of all ages and abilities

Hummingbird: A medium-length trail that links our southern and northern trail systems

Cardinal: A short trail which departs from our main parking lot, the primary trail of our southern system
Centers of Stewardship
Our mission is not only achieved in the oak woodland, but in our centers of stewardship.
The Ecology Center is a place to welcome, gather and house programs for our visitors. It features general gathering space, including kitchenettes, meeting, and special functions rooms. Our Wellness Center is a curated space, designed to enhance the experience of yoga, mental health, and self-awareness.
